This baked cheese dip recipe is perfect any time of the year! For fall and winter, bake it in the oven. For spring and summer, bake it in the crockpot on high for 1-2 hours or on low for 2-3 hours. Scoop it with corn chips, sliced apples, or crackers.
Baked
cheese dip
- 1 block of cream cheese, 8 ounces, room temperature
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 onion diced fine (optional)
If
using the oven, preheat to 325*. If using the crockpot, set on low or high.
Spray
8x8 baking dish or crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
In
a bowl, mix all ingredients together well.
Pour
into a baking dish or crockpot.
If
using the oven, bake for 30 minutes.
Serve
warm.
Tip: For a dab of heat, add Tobasco sauce to your dip while combining the ingredients before baking.
