How to make chocolate latte cookies...

They will make the perfect accompaniment to any cup of coffee. If you are not a fan of caffeine but enjoy the flavor of coffee, you can use decaffeinated coffee in this recipe.

Chocolate Latte Cookie Recipe
  • 1 cup salted butter, softened
  • 2 cups brown sugar, packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/8 cup instant coffee (dry granules)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350*.
Line 2 cookie sheets with no stick foil.
Cream margarine and sugar together with an electric mixer.
Add eggs and mix until well blended.
In a separate bowl, mix together: flour, cocoa, coffee, baking powder and soda and salt.
Add dry mixture to wet mixture until well combined.
Add in chocolate chips and mix.
Drop onto foil lined pans each one being about tablespoon size. Drop about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 8-10 minutes.
Will make about 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
